I don't usually paint pieces with symbolism or meaning behind them, just the intent to make people feel uplifted and happy. But with this colourful piece I wanted to tell a story surrounding the pandemic effecting the global population in 2020. The stormy clouds represent the vast uncertainty of the situation, but the rainbow infusion reminds us of the hope in the storm and the incredible key workers keeping us all going and the bright blue sky as the light at the end of all this.
