All Emily Louise Heard products are sold subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
 

1. Acceptance of Commissioned artwork
Your order becomes binding as soon as your £50 deposit has been accepted by Emily Louise Heard, subject to your rights of cancellation (please see section 5).

The product you order will be made bespoke to you in accordance with the instructions and specifications you have given me.

It is your responsibility to check all the details and aspects of your order are correct and that the goods are suitable for your requirements (including product features, measurements, dimensions, delivery and access) when I send through your order acknowledgement email. If you have any questions at all about a piece before purchasing, please get in touch with me. 

If you have placed an order for artwork available in my shop, and decide to cancel - please contact me immediately. Orders are refundable up to 48 hours.
 

2. Liability
Because my commissioned art is made specifically to your order, it is not possible to return it if is not suitable. I will keep you updated throughout the commission process, so it is up to you to let me know during that process whether you are happy with every aspect of the painting. Remember, I want you to love your painting. Let me know before I complete it if something is not right. 
 

If the product you have received is damaged or I have made a mistake with your order I will of course repair or replace it as soon as possible. All posted works are covered via courier insurance for damage or loss. 
 

Upon delivery of your product, please check it very carefully and report any problems immediately as I will not be held liable for visible defects identified after 48 hours of delivery.
 

I cannot be held liable for conditions of use or storage within the customers’ house after delivery, which may affect the product in any way.
 

3. Payment

All orders are totally refundable up to 48 hours after your order is placed.

I reserve the right to change prices on paintings in my shop without notice up until the time you have placed your order. This applies to my commission price guide too. 
 

4. Delivery
Each piece of art bought from Emily Louise Heard is made as per the specifications noted on the product page.

I aim to post all original paintings and prints within two weeks. Should there be a delay, I will contact you. 
 

5. Cancellation of commissions
Commissioned art is made to your order and therefore personalised as recognised by the Distance Selling Regulations.

If you need to amend or cancel your order for a commission, you have the right to do so at any time up to 48 hours after you have placed your order. However, the initial £50 deposit is non refundable. 
 

6. Access
It is your responsibility to ensure that the product you have ordered will fit into your home. It is very important that you carefully measure where the piece is going to go and also whether we can get it to the location. Please be sure to check these details in advance of placing your order.
 

7. Colour & Anomalies
Although every care is taken that photographs of my work provide an accurate representation of my work, remember that different screen resolutions and displays may provide a slight variation in colour. This should be very minimal but please bear it in mind.
